Those who don't want to wait until May and the sequel to 'Injustice' can already pick up the prequel comic series announced by Warner Bros. and Netherrealm Studios in April.

Tom Taylor is once again responsible for this, and with the new series he aims to cover the events between the games. It launches digitally on April 11th, followed by the print version in May. [Link to content] reveals One can already say this much today:

"Injustice 2 takes place shortly after the first game. Superman and his regime are in prison. The world is in turmoil. Batman is gathering the pieces. And a great threat is growing. The world will soon be in danger, so the Emperor will seem like a safe option to Superman."

In conclusion, Taylor promises that the second comic book series will be truly big and an ongoing story, with a long history of the game, some surprises and shocking moments, as well as explanations of where the characters stand in Injustice 2.

Injustice 2 will also be released in May.
