Sony announced today that it is also celebrating five years of PlayStation Plus in Europe and rewarding the very first players with a special gift.
Since its launch five years ago, PlayStation Plus has distributed over 350 free games, with six new titles added monthly. Millions of hours of online matches have also been played, including 270 million hours in 'FIFA 15' alone. Sony did not release current subscriber numbers today.
To properly celebrate the birthday, early PlayStation Plus users will receive a special gift via email later today. Sony hasn't revealed what it will be yet.

Some players have already received their gift: a unique print commemorating all the games downloaded as a PS Plus subscriber. To qualify, you must have been a PlayStation Plus member continuously since June 29, 2010.
