No Assassin's Creed for the PS Vita? Ubisoft explains.

By

Next Recently It was said that the supposed PS Vita spin-off "Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix" was in development, which Ubisoft famously denied.

Now the series creators want to explain to the disappointed fans why no new Assassin's Creed game will be released in the near future. The reason is quite obvious – the next generation wants to be supplied with "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag," "Watch Dogs," "The Crew," and "The Division." There simply aren't enough players for a PS Vita title.

“Liberation was a low-key spin-off and achieved the expected success,” said Game Director Ashraf Ismail in an interview. Nevertheless, the original Liberation team is currently working on the fourth installment, and this will not change due to the enormous time constraints.

“Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag” will be released on October 31, 2013.
