Developer Ember Lab is currently preparing an Anniversary Update. Ken: Bridge of Spirits which includes a New Game+ option.
The update includes much more than that, as IGN reports. First, the New Game+ option ensures that players who have completed the game once can start their journey again with all their previously unlocked abilities, upgrades, outfits, reds, etc., to face redesigned and more challenging encounters.
New outfits and a new game mode
In addition, there are so-called "Charmstones" that can be individually equipped. These unique collectibles each offer different adjustments to Kena's stats and abilities. Furthermore, there will be a new game mode called Spirit Guide Trials, which will challenge players' skills with a variety of repeatable challenges across three different categories, including obstacle courses, wave defense, and boss reflexes.
Completing the Spirit Guide Trials unlocks additional outfits for Kena, each inspired by one of the characters she meets on her journey. Achieving bonus objectives in each trial unlocks color variations of each outfit, as well as some unique Charmstones. There's also an exclusive new outfit for owners of the Deluxe Edition.
