The forge as the heart of the center
The central feature is clearly the forge itself, a long-held wish of many fans that has finally become a reality. Here, players can not only forge weapons but also design their workshop as a true home. Thanks to an extensive customization system with over 100 million possible combinations, the forge can be individually furnished: from a simple crafting room to lavishly decorated spaces. Furniture and upgrades are not merely cosmetic; some improve skills or grant bonuses, such as faster learning progress through certain beds.
This develops Kingdom Come: Deliverance II further towards a role-playing experience that thrives not only on battles and quests, but also on the connection to the game world.
Patch 1.4 brings important improvements
Simultaneously, the free Update 1.4 is available for all players starting today. It includes usability improvements, an enhanced photo mode, and an adaptive HUD that dynamically adjusts to the situation. These aren't spectacular features, but it's precisely these kinds of detailed improvements that make the game feel more polished in everyday use.
The forge as a customizable home is more than just a gimmick; it can enhance the feeling of truly being part of this medieval world. At the same time, it shows that Warhorse Studios wants to continue balancing new features with narrative depth. The question remains: Will Legacy of the Forge Will players be more engaged through the story or through creative crafting?
