Square Enix and Disney Interactive are pleased to announce that development has begun on ‘Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue’, a collection that brings the popular Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] remastered in HD to the PlayStation 4.
Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] was originally released in 2012 and is included in this collection as a fully remastered HD version titled Kingdom Hearts [Dream Drop Distance] HD. Faced with imminent danger, the series' protagonists, Sora and Riku, take the Mastery Exam to become Keyblade Masters. The action-packed gameplay, familiar from the Kingdom Hearts series, has been further developed for this title, allowing players to experience faster-paced battles and explore areas at breakneck speed.

KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2 Birth by Sleep: – A Fragmentary Passage – A brand new playable episode that picks up where KINGDOM HEARTS III left off, takes place after the events of KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep, and is played from Aqua's point of view.
KINGDOM HEARTS χ [chi] Back Cover (Film): A new HD film that tells the mysterious story of the "Foretellers" and connects the earliest story fragments of the series, which will be covered in the soon-to-be-released mobile game KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained χ [chi].
