The live service title knockout city This is the latest casualty in the genre to be discontinued after a relatively short time. The game launched in May 2021 and will be taken offline after two years.

Only PC players will still have the option to continue playing via private servers. Console players, on the other hand, are completely out of luck.

"On the morning of June 6, 2023, over two years after our initial launch, all servers worldwide will be shut down and the game will no longer be playable. This was an extremely difficult decision for us, but a necessary and important one for our studio."
