Velan Studios and EA will soon launch Season 4 – Alien Invasion – in knockout city, about which the first details are revealed today.
This time, unknown beings have landed in the world of the dodgeball title, challenging players to save their city and overcome new obstacles. The city's police commissioner has mobilized the Knockout City Defense Force to fight these intergalactic invaders, while the DJ has teamed up with a mysterious caller to make contact with the cosmic creatures and learn more.
The new season, which starts on December 07th, brings with it a wealth of new content, including a new map, vehicles, events and much more.
Knockout City: Season 4 Highlights
- A new map: Alien butterfly site – The players find themselves on a floating farm, above which a number of UFOs have crashed. This map introduces a unique mechanic where troublemakers can jump onto flying saucers and glide across chasms at lightning speed without losing the ball's payload.
- New events and playlists – Players can expect anything in Season 4, thanks to almost non-stop events and even more action in new playlists. Over the coming months, Knockout City will feature four new two-week events with completely new game modes, each offering its own exclusive rewards.
- A brand new Rowdy Pass – In Season 4, all players will start again at Tier 1 and work their way through 100 new tiers, unlocking numerous new exclusive alien rewards. There will be five weekly contracts, new Holobux offers, and more. Players will also retain all rewards earned through previous Rowdy Passes.
- And much more - Players gain access to the aliens' UFOs, which they can use as crew vehicles, a new energy drink: the Pass Grenade, new bundles, and daily changing items in the shop.
