Konami may be planning further Silent Hill remasters for PS5

The remake of Silent Hill 2 This is intended to be the big return of the horror series to modern consoles. More Silent HillMore games could follow, which, according to one developer, might also be ported.

This was discussed in the article published a few days ago. Short documentary zu Silent Hill: The Short Message, in which a level designer considers the possible porting of older Silent Hill-games.

A Silent Hill remaster would be a nice idea.

Who Eurogamer Based on this, ports are considered a nice idea, even if the work on a Silent Hill Remake would be even more tempting. Rika Miyatani, Level Design Director at Hexadrive, reportedly said:

“Everyone involved in this discussion, including myself, was a big Silent Hill fan, so internally people started talking and we said ports would be nice, but what we would really like to see is a remake of Silent Hill on current generation consoles.”

It is unknown to what extent Konami ultimately pursued this idea. It was also not stated which Silent Hill-Games could potentially be considered as a port.

Hexadrive was previously one of the developers responsible for the Silent Hill 2 Remake were up for election before the contract went to Bloober Team. However, six months later, Hexadrive was approached again to offer them the contract for Silent Hill: The Short Message .

Silent Hill: The Short Message was surprisingly announced for PS5 last week veröffentlicht, which was developed as a kind of experiment and eventually turned into a full release. YES please yes. Port everything… everything, EVERYTHING!!!!! I'll buy it no matter how expensive. The main thing is finally getting all the Silent Hill games for current systems, and especially PC! Downpour + Origins + Shatterex Memories, please, all of them….
PLEASE... for me personally, this is the best thing that could happen in terms of gaming <3

I've been waiting for over ten years for Silent Hill to finally be released for PC/currently three consoles. After ten years of waiting, it's about time, so let's go!

So, I can give you a normal answer now, that would be really nice. I'm considering whether to get the collection for Xbox One, it costs €30 in the store there, or wait until it comes out for PS5.
