Lord of the Rings fans of all ages can now step into the roles of their favorite characters in LEGO style and save Middle-earth on an epic adventure. Of course, neither the typical LEGO humor nor the creative gameplay characteristic of the LEGO video game franchise is missing. Both longtime Lord of the Rings fans and players unfamiliar with the saga will be captivated by the familiar original dialogue and exciting scenes from the award-winning films, as well as the playful charm with which TT Games spices up the epic story.

“In LEGO The Lord of the Rings™, players experience a truly extraordinary adventure. No other LEGO game has ever boasted such epic dimensions,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director at TT Games. "The game offers magnificent characters, spectacular battles and impressive locations that bring the Lord of the Rings saga to life in the unmistakable LEGO style and will delight the whole family."

LEGO The Lord of the Rings™ brings the Lord of the Rings epic to a younger audience for the first time, allowing them to explore Middle-earth in a humorous and imaginative LEGO atmosphere. Players take on the roles of their favorite characters – Frodo the Hobbit, Aragorn the Ranger, Gandalf the Wizard, Legolas the Elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Boromir the Warrior of Gondor, and Frodo's Hobbit friends Sam, Merry, and Pippin – and experience the most memorable scenes from the films. The famous Battle of Helm's Deep is on the agenda, as is the exploration of the Shire, the escape from the fiery caverns of Mount Doom, and battles against Shelob and the Nazgûl. In addition, there are puzzles to solve and plenty of weapons and magical items to collect, including the Light of Eärendil, the Elven Rope, and various swords and bows.

Together, players will discover more than 80 unlockable cult characters, including Arwen Evenstar, Sauron, the Dark Lord, and Lurtz.
