Although the console release of 'Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide' is still pending, we can present you with further impressions of the action title in a new Let's Test video by RobLi today.
For those unfamiliar with Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide, it's a spin-off of the Warhammer series, designed as a first-person co-op adventure where you take on the role of five different heroes, including the Dwarf Ranger, the Empire Soldier, the Waywatcher, and the Witch Hunter. Each possesses completely different abilities and playstyles, as well as unique personalities and equipment. Players must use these individual skills cooperatively to survive an apocalyptic invasion by hordes of power-hungry and ruthless Skaven. The battles take place in a variety of environments – from the top of Magnus Tower to the depths of the Under Kingdoms.
The setting is the city of Ubersreik, where the Age of Mortal Age is drawing to a close and the reign of Chaos is dawning. The Dark Gods are united in a single quest, unleashing their madness upon the world as never before. In the Kingdom of Sigmar, Karl Franz's attention is focused on the invasion of the barbaric Northmen, but this is not the only danger. As the Chaos moon Morrslieb waxes, echoes of shrill voices reverberate through the tunnels that have sprung up deep beneath the kingdom's cities, and a horde of Skaven is making its way to the surface. At first, they appear in the city of Ubersreik as a swarm that annihilates everything in its path. Soon, Ubersreik is a city of corpses, sinking in the shadow of the Horned Rat.
The console version of Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide is currently scheduled for release in 2015. More Let's Play videos from RobLi can be found on his [website/platform name]. official YouTube channel.
