With the upcoming episode 'Life is Strange: Dark Room', DontNod's mystery adventure is nearing its end, so the calls for a full disc release are getting louder and louder.
According to co-director Raoul Barbet, the chances for a retail release on disc are not so bad, given that the game has received almost exclusively positive feedback.
"We hope to be able to do it, but it depends on many things – the success of the game, I suppose. And yes, so far the public reaction has been really good, so perhaps we will be able to do it in the future, but I can't say anything about it at the moment."
After the dramatic ending of the third episode, 'Chaos Theory', everyone is eagerly awaiting episode 4, 'Dark Room', about which Barbet has also commented.
"I absolutely don't want to spoil anything. We want players to explore it when Episode 4 is released, so I won't reveal anything. Let's just say it's going to be really intense. We had this voice-over recording session, I was there with these guys, and I had to hold back my tears because it was so intense and I didn't want anyone to see me screaming. It's going to be so awesome."
Those who have already finished the third episode are already aware of the dramatic and unpredictable events. We will likely find out what happens next in 'Life is Strange' in mid-July.
