Bandai Namco is releasing the first expansion for Little Nightmares III today. The DLC, titled "The Backstage," is available now for all major platforms, including the Nintendo Switch.
Lantern light against the darkness
Supermassive Games takes us behind the scenes of the Carnevale this time. You don't just take on the role of familiar characters, but also encounter a new one named Dime. The child wears a distinctive lantern hat. You'll need that light, too.
Together with Low, you must fight your way through extremely dark areas to rescue Alone from the clutches of the Puppeteer. The atmosphere is immediately captivating. Dark. Oppressive. Exactly what fans of the series expect.
The DLC is available now as a standalone purchase. Those who own the Deluxe Edition will receive the content via the "Secrets of the Spiral" Expansion Pass at no additional cost. Further DLC will be released later this year. The roadmap is complete.
The change of developer to Supermassive Games hasn't diminished the dark atmosphere. Dime brings a breath of fresh air to the mechanics. A solid start for post-launch content.
Are you going to grab the DLC right at release, or are you waiting until all parts of the Expansion Pass are out? Let me know in the comments.
