Believe in your souls – The Action RPG Lords of the Fallen 2 It will finally be presented to the public next week during Gamescom Opening Night Live. The confirmation didn't come through a major PR campaign, but rather casually. CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski mentioned the Revelation on X, after host Geoff Keighley had previously teased a "big reveal".
That it is the successor to the 2023 model Lords of the Fallen Many fans immediately suspected it was something else, and they were absolutely right.
From hidden gem to established Soulslike
The first installment from last year has quietly but steadily carved out its place in the genre. While the PS5 version initially launched only solidly, numerous updates, especially... the big Patch 2.0 The updates in April noticeably improved the game. New content, technical optimizations, and more balanced gameplay ensured that it is now among the better Soulslike experiences.

If CI Games is smart, they won't just focus on bombastic boss fights, but also on even better level design, a more precise combat system, and more stable performance. The genre has evolved since 2023; now they have to show they can keep up.
