InnerspaceVR, the creators behind A Fisherman's Tale, today unveil their new mystical puzzle VR adventure Maskmaker, which will be released this April.
maskmaker It transports players to a mysterious universe where they take on the role of a mask maker and learn the magic of mask making to experience the world through the eyes of the fascinating beings in the game.
“Our team set out to create non-linear adventures that make players feel like they are actually there as they explore the mysterious world of Maskmaker,” says Balthazar Auxietre, Creative Director and co-founder of Innerspace.VR"We designed the game so that players feel like real craftsmen as they create the elaborate masks and experience the freedom in the unique worlds within the masks."
In maskmaker Players encounter the powerful "leader" of the Mask Realm, Prospero, who invites them to join his workshop as his assistant. As the players learn how to craft magical masks, they discover that their newfound ability allows them to travel to different worlds and possess the guardians within the Mask Realm.
Players must explore each world to gather rare resources, solve puzzles, develop their crafting skills, and prove they are worthy of being a mask maker. From mask to mask and puzzle to puzzle, players make their way through the Mask Realm to find Prospero and ultimately uncover the truth behind his identity.
