Medal of Honor: Warfighter announced

What has actually been an open secret for a long time, EA has now officially announced: Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

Like its predecessor, the game is being developed by Danger Close and continues the story of the Tier 1 Operators. It will again utilize the new Frostbite Engine 2.0, and will also feature a multiplayer mode, which is being developed in-house by Danger Close.

A release is planned for this October. More information about the game will follow at the beginning of March at GDC in San Francisco.
