Deep Silver today announced the release of the 'Chronicles Pack' for Metro: Last Light, which will be available via the PlayStation Network starting this week.

Like the previous 'Faction Pack', the 'Chronicles Pack' expands the universe and story of Metro: Last Light. In three new single-player missions, the Chronicles Pack allows players to step into the roles of some familiar Metro characters in gripping stories that run parallel to the narrative of Artyom, the protagonist of the main game.

"We hope that the additional content was enjoyed by fans of Metro: Last Light," said Andrew Prokhorov, Creative Director at 4A Games. "They gave us the opportunity to experiment with new gameplay ideas like the 'Ranger' mission in the Faction and Tower Packs, and we listened to the feedback. We think the Chronicles Pack will appeal to fans the most, as it contains three unique story missions featuring some of the game's most popular characters."

Test the deadly skills and cunning of the relentless Pavel as he attempts to escape the bandit camp beneath Venice. Also, guide Khan and Ulman through the forgotten ghost tunnels of Polyanka in a thrilling supernatural tale that unveils a dark secret from Khan's past…

The Chronicles Pack also includes the multi-barreled bicycle shotgun, an extraordinary weapon designed by a fan and discovered online by 4A Games. The inventor (Alexandre Bannwarth, a first-year design student from New Zealand) was tracked down and the weapon was recreated for the game.

The Chronicles Pack, the last planned expansion content for Metro, costs €4,99 and is also included in the Metro: Last Light Season Pass, which, at €14,99 for the Faction, Tower, Developer, and Chronicles Packs, offers a price advantage over purchasing the expansion content individually and also includes the exclusive weapon Abzats. Metro: Last Light is also available today as a Deal of the Day at Amazon.de; see the ad below.
