Mortal Kombat 1 represents a new era in the cult series, in which a reborn Mortal Kombat-Universe discovered, created by the fire god Liu Kang. Mortal Kombat 1 The announcement states that it will rely on a new combat system, as well as new game modes and Fatalities to reimagine the legendary franchise.

On top of that, it features a brand-new story with your favorite Mortal Kombat characters, like you've never seen them before. These include Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Shang Tsung, Johnny Cage, and many more, who fight for the fate of Earthrealm in a deadly story mode.

Pre-orders for Mortal Kombat 1 Launching on May 19th. All pre-orders will also receive Shang Tsung as a playable character, as well as exclusive beta access, available in August. In addition to the standard version, there is an optional Premium Edition, which includes early access, 1.250 Dragon Crystals (in-game currency), the Kombat Pack (containing a Johnny Cage skin in the style of Jean-Claude Van Damme), early access to six additional playable characters, and five new cameo fighters.
For true fans, there is also a Kollector's Edition exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, which includes all the content of the Premium Edition as well as a 16,5-inch Liu Kang sculpture, three exclusive art prints, a steelbook and 1.450 additional Dragon Crystals.
