The tutorials have been completely revised, including instructions and demonstrations, to provide even more support. First, you'll familiarize yourself with the basics of the controls, followed by finding the ideal racing line using the cornering indicator, overtaking without violating the penalty system, and much more.
As the game progresses, you'll venture onto several different racetracks, achieving various objectives and adhering to specific rules. This leads to more advanced challenges where you'll learn a more strategic approach. Here, you can learn more about fuel consumption, tire wear, brakes, braking behavior, and many other technical aspects that need to be monitored.
Off to the Academy!
Those who already consider themselves true racers can further refine their skills in the MotoGP Academy. This new mode includes all 21 official MotoGP circuits: each with five different time trials, the first four linked to individual sectors of the track and the last to the entire circuit.
In each challenge, you must beat three times: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The minimum requirement is to achieve Bronze in at least one of the first four challenges to progress to the final stage of the entire course. On-screen tips will help you prepare for these challenges. Once you achieve the best time, a "Ghost Driver" will be generated, making your lap time your next target.
Finally, real races await the players. Here, you can choose whether to adjust the race options and driving assistance based on your skill level, including in-game help.
Every performance – in Time Attack, Single Grand Prix, Career Mode, or NINE Season 2009 – is linked to an analysis that assesses your experience and skills in overcoming various obstacles that may arise during a race. The game itself will determine whether the race options and driving aids you have selected are set to the difficulty levels that best suit you. The game will then provide you with the appropriate hints on the most suitable actions to optimize your driving style.
