To coincide with the release of 'NBA 2K Playgrounds 2' this week, 2K Games is showing the official launch trailer for the arcade simulation from Saber Interactive.
NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 promises over 300 players at launch, including legendary newcomers like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, plus more to be added after release. The game will also launch with ten new and exciting courts from around the world, including those in Washington, D.C., St. Louis, Seoul, and Australia, with more planned for post-launch.
NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 offers multiple ways to play solo, with friends, or against the world. The Playgrounds Championship mode delivers a global ranked league with multiple competing solo and co-op leaders, while the new single-player Season mode recreates the player experience through the regular season and playoffs. There are also four-player online matches, co-op matches against AI, improved matchmaking with dedicated servers, three-point contests, power-ups, custom matches, and much more.
