Electronic Arts and Ghost Games today revealed the first details about the next major patch in 'Need for Speed', which will include even more new features.
This Living Game update gives players the opportunity to experience Need for Speed's multiplayer mode in a brand new way with SpeedLists and to replay the best story events in a much more challenging way with Prestige mode.
SpeedLists
Test your skills against other players in tailor-made tournaments and become SpeedList World Champion.
- There are different types of tournaments. Choose the one that suits you best: Speed, Style, or Mixed.
- Use the time between SpeedLists to tune your car and gain a winning advantage.
- The better you perform in each event, the more SpeedPoints you collect.
- Join a SpeedList at any time. You will then participate in the next available event in the tournament.
Prestige
- Are you ready to try some of the best events from the story, but in HARD MODE?
- Prestige offers a collection of more challenging speed, style, wrenching, crew, and outlaw events.
- Once you have completed the story mode, you can expect a call from some old friends who will want to tell you about this new challenge.
- Activate Prestige via your phone and switch between normal and Prestige events.
- This time, victory isn't everything. You have to achieve increasingly difficult target scores in succession to receive gold in each event.
Activities
- Drift or speed? Choose your style and compete with your friends for the most points in these short skill challenges.
- Drift long, hard and fast through the drift curves to pulverize the target score.
- If you're into speed, there are a few short and challenging speed runs out there for you.
- Remember to avoid collisions and keep your speed high so you can make an impression on the Speedwall.
- Collect them all and keep playing to remain the best among your friends and defend your pride.
Daily Challenges
- In the challenges, there is now a unique slide editor decal for each completed challenge.
- Over 150 daily challenge decals can be collected, which were previously only available by completing all three daily challenges.
- Keep playing to collect more decals and customize your car.
