Because there's new content for all Guitar Hero Live fans: a brand-new live set from the Los Angeles alternative rock band Weezer. One of the game's biggest innovations makes it possible: live concerts are recorded and then integrated into the game, complete with the musical notation system.
“We have been part of Guitar Hero from the very beginning”, say the guys from Weezer. "And it's always amazing how our songs are catapulted into new dimensions through the games."
At the end of October, Weezer headlined the Guitar Hero Live launch party at the YouTube Space in LA and also played a special live show at iHeartRadio in Burbank. In addition to their current single "Thank Goodness for Girls," the new Guitar Hero Live set from Weezer includes two more songs from these live performances, which are available to play now:
