New Subnautica in development at Unknown Worlds

The developers at Unknown Worlds have begun work on a new Subnautica-Game confirmed, for which they are currently looking for new staff.

Specifically, they are currently looking for a Senior Narrative Designer, who will actively help shape the next game set in the Subnautica universe. His task is to work closely with the team, "to tell compelling, dramatic stories within the context of the gaming experience, while simultaneously defining the history and lore of a new science fiction world and its alien inhabitants.""

This gives the person the chance to determine the narrative direction for this popular franchise from the very beginning, which means that this production is also still in its early stages and will be a long time coming.

Subnautica So far, it has two installments, which are also available on PlayStation. The most recent one was released here. Subnautics: Below Zero (our review), which offered a fresh underwater adventure on an alien planet.

The franchise Subnautica invites players to explore a richly detailed underwater world. But this world is not entirely safe, because scouring this alien ocean for vital resources puts players in confrontation with terrifying creatures that live in the deepest and darkest corners of that sea.
