Square Enix can today celebrate the Gold status of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 They announced that the development of the remake is complete. They also hinted at free DLC content.
Producer Yosuke Saito announced today on Twitter that the game has gone gold, stating that it has been finished for some time. Nothing now stands in the way of its release this April, and mass production can begin.
Furthermore, Saito hinted at the first DLC content, which is also supposed to be released for free. However, no further details were given.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 ... The game takes players to a dark and apocalyptic world where they accompany their brother, who has made it his mission to cure his sister of her fatal illness – but this journey soon turns out to be an experience that ultimately makes them question everything.
The new edition is thus a modern reinterpretation of the title that was originally released in Japan in 2010. NieR Replicant and the highly anticipated prequel to NieR: Automata, the post-apocalyptic action RPG that sold over 4,5 million units worldwide.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 will be released on April 26, 2021.
