To mark the current anniversary of the NieR series, Square Enix has announced a remaster of 'NieR Replicant' for PS4, also known as NieR Gestalt (Xbox 360), which was originally only released in Japan.
The remaster is called 'NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139' and includes newly recorded dialogue and music, as much of the game's content was originally only available via text. Composer Keiichi Okabe also returns to the project, and Takahisa Taura from Platinum Games, who previously worked as a Senior Game Designer on NieR: Automata, was brought on board.

The remaster is currently being developed by Toylogic, but there is no release date yet.
