Square Enix reveals shortly before the release of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 a new trailer highlighting the new content.

Producer Yosuke Saito recently stated that they're delivering a lot of extra bits, including new stories, a new connection to NieR: Automata, and something that will appeal to fans of Papa Nier. Overview of new features
- Extra episode – Players can experience a new scenario and an exciting boss fight with the new “Mermaid” episode in the game, which revolves around a shipwreck and a little girl.
- Extra dungeons from "World of the Reused Vessel" This was previously released as downloadable content for the original game in Japan and is known as "15 Nightmares." Fans can tackle a series of challenging dungeons. Completing these dungeons unlocks a variety of weapons as well as the additional "Kabuki" and "Samurai" costumes. Once one of these costumes is obtained, the appearance of enemy projectiles can be changed to Emil's face via the options menu.
- Soundtrack from NieR: Automata These are unlocked after the first playthrough. Selected tracks from the critically acclaimed NieR: Automata They can be played as background music.
- Guest appearances from NieR: Automata – The voice actors for the English and Japanese voices of 2B and 9S will be heard in the game.
The new edition is thus a modern reinterpretation of the title that was originally released in Japan in 2010. NieR Replicant and the highly anticipated prequel to NieR: Automata, the post-apocalyptic action RPG, which also sold millions of copies worldwide.
