What was long just a rumor can now hardly be denied: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion It's actually getting a remaster – and apparently faster than expected. "Stop! You violated the law!" can say. After the events of the last few days the leaks have been overtakenThe veil of silence has now finally fallen.
The title, which is still unconfirmed but practically confirmed by numerous hints, was spotted on the developer Virtuos' website – complete with comparison images, platform information, and even packshots of a Deluxe Edition. Enthusiasm in the community is correspondingly high, although some cautiously ask: Will it live up to the original?
Old World in new splendor
The leaked screenshots The remaster clearly aims to modernize the original's visuals without losing its soul. Lighting and shadow effects, sharper textures, and reworked character models all point to a visual overhaul. So, anyone hoping to finally explore Cyrodiil with modern eyes has good reason to be hopeful.
Particularly interesting: In addition to the technical details, information about a Deluxe Edition was also revealed, which will include additional content such as horse armor (Yes, the legendary ones.) and is said to include exclusive weapons.
