Thrustmaster is the new manufacturer for the official PlayStation steering wheel T80, which should be available this month.
The Thrustmaster T80 Racing Wheel is 100% compatible with the PlayStation 4, thanks to the official certification chip integrated into the wheel. The T80 also offers the following features:
- PS4 / PS3 selector switch (for full compatibility of the USB racing wheel with the PS3)
- 2 handlebar-mounted sequential paddle shifters
- Steering wheel grips with rubberized surface
- Large, optimized pedal set with two pedals and large footrest
- Adjustable tilt angle for each pedal
- Brake with progressive resistance
- Fully programmable: 2 sequential rocker switches + 11 action buttons + D-pad
- Large, programmable, progressive pedal set with a large footrest. For highly precise and comfortable acceleration and braking.
- Adjustable handlebar sensitivity for precise driving
- Linear resistance and auto-centering
- Thrustmaster “Bungee Cord”, exclusive system with realistic resistance
- Central clamping system with wide jaws for optimal stability on all desks and tables.
The official Thrustmaster T80 PlayStation 4 steering wheel costs €99. The identical DriveClub Edition will be released in spring 2014.
