At the Xbox Showcase last night, Atlus unveiled the three games Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and 5 person Royale has been announced for Xbox. Apparently, versions for PS5 and PC are also planned.
This information apparently comes from a press release by Atlus, although the German version makes no mention of platforms other than the Xbox. An official confirmation seems likely at a later date.
Regarding the games themselves, Atlus writes:
- Persona 5 Royal: The protagonist is forced to transfer to a high school in Tokyo and then has a strange dream: "You are truly a prisoner of fate. Ruin awaits you in the near future." Driven by the goal of "rehabilitation," he must save others from distorted desires by donning the mask of a Phantom Thief. Persona 5 Royal returns in epic proportions and includes previously released DLC!
- Persona 4 Golden: "They say your soulmate will appear if you stare at a television on a rainy night..." This strange rumor slowly spreads through the rural town of Inaba, the protagonist's new home, as a series of mysterious murders begins. As the protagonist and his teammates chase the truth, they open a door to another world. Persona 4 Golden is released for the first time with text in German, French, Italian, and Spanish!
- Person 3 Portable: "If I said that there is an hour 'hidden' between one day and the next... would you believe me?" This unknown time is the "Dark Hour." An unfamiliar silence engulfs the city, people transform into eerie coffins, and otherworldly monsters called Shadows They swarm out. One night, the protagonist is attacked by them. Shadows attacked. When all hope seems lost, the strength of the heart, which HumanPersona 3 Portable has been revived. It now offers not only improved graphics but will also be available with German, French, Italian, and Spanish text for the first time!
Person 5 Royal It will be released on October 21, 2022 for Xbox & Co., while 4 Golden Person and Persona 3 Portable to follow next year.
UpdateAtlus has now confirmed the release of the games on PS5.
Only Persona 5 Royale will be released on October 21.10st, not parts 3 and 4. Those will be released in early 2023.
