After several hints of a Persona 5 remake, Atlus has officially announced Persona 5 R today. A first teaser trailer has been released, while more detailed information will be revealed later.
It is suspected that this is a remaster or a modified version of Persona 5, even though the game itself is only two years old. Furthermore, there is speculation that multiple versions will be released, as several different domains were previously secured, including P5S, P5B, and P5M. The letter in each domain could represent a specific platform, perhaps M for Mobile?
Atlus plans to reveal more details next March. Until then, we'll just have to make do with the teaser.
