Since the Collector's Edition and Steelbook Edition of 'Persona 5' are largely sold out, there is a small upgrade to the Standard Edition, as Atlus announced today.

The standard version includes a DualShock controller skin featuring some members of the Phantom Thieves crew. This skin will be included in all copies marked accordingly on the packshot. A preview of the skin is available in the following video.

Persona 5 deals with the inner and outer conflicts of a group of teenagers leading double lives. They lead the normal lives of high school students in Tokyo—attending classes, participating in extracurricular activities, and working part-time jobs. But beyond that, they experience fantastic adventures by using supernatural powers to enter people's hearts. This power originates from the Persona, the concept of the "self" as defined by Carl Gustav Jung.

The game's heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to hide their inner vulnerabilities. Only by literally tearing these masks away and confronting people with their true selves can the heroes awaken their inner strength and use it to help those in need. Ultimately, the Phantom Thieves aim to reshape the everyday world according to their own vision and see through the masks of modern society.

Persona 5 will be released on April 04, 2017.
