To Concrete Genie Developer Pixelopus is dedicating itself to its first PS5 project. This is revealed by recent job postings on Twitter.
It says there that we "is working hard on an exciting new PlayStation 5 title and will continue to grow in that direction."
Among other things, they are looking for a Principal Graphics Programmer who will actively contribute to the development process, while working closely with Sony Pictures Animation to realize exciting innovations and rendering possibilities.
Furthermore, it is suggested that the new game will be based on the Unreal Engine 5 based on, which will be fully available from 2022.
PixelOpus has existed since 2014, initially based on Entwined and then on Concrete Genie have worked on both titles. They were praised, among other things, for their exceptional art design.
It is currently unknown when an official unveiling of the PS5 project can be expected. PlayStation Studios currently has around 25 projects in development, including... Horizon forbidden west, God of War and Gran Turismo 7, which will be released soon. Further projects are underway at Sony Bend and Asobi team Work in progress, but no details are available.
