The PlayStation Classic has only been on the market for a few days and has already been hacked, granting full access to the underlying software. Soon, it could be possible to run custom games on it.

One user managed to modify the console's access settings so that he could manually transfer games to his PlayStation Classic via USB. Currently, this still needs to be done manually, but it seems only a matter of time before the process is simplified. A video on Twitter demonstrates his method.

Theoretically, this allows any PSone game to be played on the PlayStation Classic, and Sony hasn't made the process particularly difficult. The PlayStation Classic uses a well-known and widely used emulator, as Sony considered it the best suited for the task.
