Während the PlayStation Plus Essential line-up Although the library has only recently been restocked, several titles will soon be leaving PlayStation's subscription service.

More specifically, five games will be removed from the temporary PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium lineup in November. This week alone, there were already five. Hot Wheels Unleashed, Injustice 2 and Superhot, which you previously had to secure in your library in order to continue downloading them via PlayStation Plus.

Games in the PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium tier, however, will permanently leave the service, even if you have previously saved them. This is comparable to Microsoft's Game Pass approach.

These PlayStation Plus games will be removed in November

With the PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium Update around the middle of the month, the following titles will be unavailable:

  • Mafia: Definitive Edition
  • Mafia II: Definitive Edition
  • Mafia III: Definitive Edition
  • Ride 4
  • MXGP 2021 – The Official Motocross Videogame
  • GreedFall

After that, the usual purchase option remains available to continue playing. So, anyone who wants to take advantage of the opportunity at a good price has... until November 15 Time, even if that seems quite short in the case of the Mafia.

The most worthwhile is the Mafia: Definitive Edition (our review), a remake of the original that boasts true next-gen qualities, especially from a technical standpoint. The performance test at the time concluded:

"All in all, this is a technically impressive remake of the original Mafia with often breathtaking visuals. Performance may be a bottleneck on current-generation machines, but we've never seen the Mafia series look this good."

Sony will reveal shortly which games will be new to PlayStation Plus / Extra this November.
