PlayStation Plus turns 15 – and to mark the anniversary, there won't be a complete lull in July. Diablo IV, The King of Fighters and Jusant Sony caters to very different types of players: from dark multiplayer grinding to meditative solo adventures.
Diablo IV It delivers solid action RPG fare for summer nights – co-op, cross-play, endgame. Technically and gameplay-wise well-equipped, even if the initial euphoria has long since subsided. KoF XV It brings classic 3v3 fighting games with modern netcode and a solid selection for genre fans. And JusantCalm, idiosyncratic, slow-paced – a welcome change if you embrace the style.
In comparison to the rather mixed previous months, July was PlayStation Plus A step forward. Not a mega-highlight, but at least a well-rounded package with clear diversity. Will that be enough to appease the recent, clearly voiced criticism of the subscription service? Questionable.

So, I'll subscribe and get the Tekken Battle Pass so I can try Diabolo. I'm disappointed with Kind of Fighters; SNK urgently needs to upgrade their graphics engine/art style to at least SF6, otherwise it's game over. Even the students won't be able to save SNK from bankruptcy a second time, and I actually like SNK figures the most in terms of art style (except for Akuma) when you compare all the fighting games.
