Similar to consoles, PlayStation VR will also continue to evolve and become more powerful over the years.
Sony London Studio boss Dave Ranyard stated this in a recent Q&A session, explaining that games and hardware will continuously improve as developers become more familiar with them. Currently, they are exploring the many possibilities, and over time, they will see what VR is and can be.
PlayStation VR will undoubtedly be very impressive at launch, but that's not all. While the hardware itself is already finished, it's now up to the software teams to get as much as possible out of it.
PlayStation VR will be released in spring 2016.
