Yesterday's Future Games Show also focused in part on a few upcoming PlayStation VR2 games. They took a look at the VR version of MADiSON and shared new impressions of Firewall Ultra.
MADiSON (our review() was one of last year's horror highlights, following PT's approach like so many other titles, but also forging its own path. With the VR version, they now aim to drive players absolutely insane by letting them experience the horror up close.
Unfortunately, a precise release date is still pending.
Ultra Firewall
First Contact Entertainment is currently working on the tactical shooter Ultra Firewall, whose original version was a huge hit. Today we have new insights into it.
Ultra Firewall It is described as a next-generation VR title, built using Unreal Engine 5. The entire visual approach has been redesigned, with a focus on detailed, real-time lighting, and the gameplay has been extensively refined to take advantage of PS VR2 hardware. This includes eye tracking, sometimes in subtle ways, to add detail and control over key interactions.
Ultra Firewall It will be released in 2023.
VR Skater
VR Skater is another exciting title, a highly immersive street skateboarding game. It features a finely tuned blend of arcade and simulation elements that are easy to learn but difficult to master.
Skaters skate through a variety of urban environments, roaming the streets, taking on challenges, or chasing high scores with complex trick combinations on the rails and in pipes at the skate spots.
