Kalypso Media is today taking a trip into the game world of Port Royale 4, which will be released in September, with an exploration video.
The 12 million square kilometer game world stretches from the Florida Keys, USA to the northern tip of South America and offers players the opportunity to explore a lifelike replica of the Caribbean, conquer settlements and build a huge trading empire within it.
In a 30-minute experience, viewers are accompanied on a ship's journey across the map of Port Royale 4. In keeping with the game's soundtrack, the video has a meditative quality, encouraging viewers to sit back and lose themselves in the game's pristine Caribbean landscape.
A key new feature in the game is the ability to seamlessly zoom in and out of the vast new game world. It's the largest map ever featured in a Port Royale game and one of the largest maps in gaming (12.000.000 km²).2) at all.
Port Royale 4 will be released on September 25, 2020.
