Following initial rumors about a console version of 'Portal Knights', 505 Games has now officially announced it for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Since its Steam Early Access debut, the Portal Knights development team has worked closely with the player community to incorporate gameplay feedback and significantly improve the immersive role-playing experience, including crafting and combat. The numerous improvements include larger worlds, enhanced role-playing and combat elements, expanded class trees, random events, water, pets, NPCs, quests, new resources, and trading.
The Portal Knights adventure begins with character creation, offering a wide range of customization options that can be further enhanced with clothing and equipment throughout the game. Once created, players are immersed in a world of fun and fantasy, experiencing dozens of randomly generated environments populated with enemies, treasures, and resources. On their action-packed journey through this dangerous, decaying world, players utilize a network of ancient portals to craft items, battle, and embark on their own unique adventure, ultimately striving to become the ultimate Portal Knight.
Travel between randomly generated 3D sandbox worlds – Players experience unique environments, encounter unique NPCs, and discover creatures and resources with which to craft items. They explore caves, lakes, and dungeons full of surprises.
