Square Enix and FutureLab have announced their next collaboration for PowerWash Simulator! announced, this time with Back to the Future, which will receive a Special Pack later this year.
Following in the footsteps of Tomb Raider and SpongeBob SquarePants, this game also returns to a legendary location in the past, allowing players to spray-paint iconic film sets and props inspired by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment's "Back to the Future" series, including Doc Brown's van "The Time Machine," the Hill Valley Clocktower, the Holomax Theatre, and Doc's Time Train. The game also features ten new achievements to collect.
Kirsty Rigden, Co-CEO of FuturLab, comments:
“Back to the Future is a dream IP. This new collaboration gives us the opportunity to take our players to completely unexpected places… into the past, the future, and the present!”
The PowerWash Simulator! However, it is becoming a real insider tip among players who want to relax properly and in a different way after work.
In our review We came to the following conclusion back then:
"The gameplay is simple, undemanding, and very open-ended. This makes it perfect for relaxing or playing in the background while listening to a podcast or something similar. The technical implementation is really well done, which rounds off the positive impression. The crossover elements mean there's always something new to discover and plenty of variety. A standalone VR version would be the icing on the cake."
The latter is now even coming true, and a dedicated VR version of PowerWash Simulator! is already on its way.
