Sony has another year until the launch of Project Morpheus, which has so far made little impact in terms of its game offerings.
Sony only had a few demos available for its VR headset, but this is expected to change before the final release in the first half of 2016. Sony World Wide Studio boss Shuhei Yoshida anticipates a strong launch lineup, as he told Game Informer. explained:
"In terms of number, I believe we'll have a pretty good selection of games at launch because they're already in development. But at the same time, it's important how compelling these experiences are. So far, we haven't shown any actual games, only demos. Many teams are working on games – we'll try to show some of them at E3, as well as third-party games."
To achieve this goal, Sony plans to make more developer kits available in the future and convince more developers to join Project Morpheus.
