Following the official unveiling of Project Morpheus, Sony's VR headset, at GDC yesterday, the first publishers, including Ubisoft, are showing interest in the new hardware.

According to Ubisoft Vice President of Creative Lionel Raynaud, however, significant initial figures were needed before the company would invest in the area itself. spricht at least one million units sold are required before it becomes interesting for in-house development.

It will likely be some time before Sony's VR headset and those of its competitors reach market maturity. Prices and release dates are currently unknown.
