Yesterday confirmed Sony announced the current sales figures for the PS Vita, which amounted to 1,8 million units worldwide by the end of the last fiscal year on March 31.
Even though it might not sound like much to some, Sony believes the PS Vita will continue to gain momentum. They cite recent figures from market research firm NPD Group, which show that titles like MLB 12: The Show landed in the top 5. New titles like Mortal Kombat and applications like Skype are also generating strong consumer demand.
