Sony has begun to integrate PlayStation VR into the upcoming PS4 Firmware 3.50 to implement, which is currently undergoing BETA testing among users.
At least in the settings, it's already clear that Sony is preparing for the launch of the VR headset, for example in the updated safety information. This includes warnings that the VR headset is not suitable for children under 12, that users should be aware of obstacles in the room, and that physical symptoms such as nausea, disorientation, or motion sickness may occur.
It remains unclear when Sony will launch its VR headset, with final details expected at GDC on March 15th. Sony will then hold its own PlayStation VR event, hopefully revealing all the information, including price and launch date. In this respect, Sony is already somewhat behind its competitors Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, who have already disclosed all their details.
