Even though the final details for the PS5 launch are still unknown, some retailers have already started taking pre-orders. They have also revealed the expected price of the console.
The Canadian retailer Play N Trade is leading the way, now accepting pre-orders for the equivalent of €357. However, when asked if this price was final, the retailer stated that it would serve as a deposit should the PS5 ultimately be more expensive.
In fact, even with the favorable exchange rate, this price seems rather low. Experts are already anticipating that Sony might charge around €500. Therefore, this is anything but official.

Another retailer is taking a different approach and recently quoted a price of over €800 for the PS5. However, this is likely a significant overestimate, as hardly anyone will be willing to spend that much on a console.
Also of interest is Play N Trade's anticipated launch date, which they expect to be December 01st for the PS5. Of course, this date, like the price, is currently unofficial.
