Besides new sales figures for the PlayStation 4 Sony also addressed the PS5 today, including new forecasts in its quarterly report. However, these appear to differ significantly from previous statements.

Furthermore, they reiterate the PS5 launch lineup, which is among the best ever seen at the launch of a new console. Totoki commented on this:
"We expect to launch the PS5 in excellent shape due to this attractive software portfolio, the strength of the PlayStation brand, our outstanding gaming ecosystem and our cohesive gamer community."

The PlayStation 5 will be available from November 19th.
