Sony announced yesterday, Thursday. the new PS5 UX presented, representing a new level of user experience. In it, one not only sees a perfect interplay between hardware and softwareIn the future, players should be able to fully concentrate on the games.
This was stated by SIE's Hideaki Nishino, Senior Vice President of Platform and Planning Management, compared to Digital Foundry, who have taken into account the fact that people's time is limited and one should not concern oneself with unnecessary things.
“We really want to ensure that users can make the most of their time engaging with the game. We’ve had discussions with developers and creators: they sometimes feel a bit sad because the scope of the game and the game world are now huge – and people might not be seeing the whole picture. So how can we involve them more in the games?”
One example of this is the cards that show players the options available to them. Developers can use metadata to highlight and display these features, or even direct players straight to them within the game. It's entirely up to the developers how much they choose to utilize this feature.
"It's a really great experience to engage the user more with the game. I talk to my team, it's like a theatre – it's there to energize all the actors on stage and help them give their best. And you shouldn't notice what's going on behind the scenes."
The PS5 will be released on November 19th here in Europe.
