Who supposedidSoftware has the Quake II Remaster Released, and available now on the PlayStation Store. It includes the brand-new expansion. Quake II 64.

About Quake II Remaster

In Quake II Humanity is at war with the Strogg, a hostile alien race that attacked Earth. In response, humanity launched an attack on the Strogg homeworld and failed, but survived. Outnumbered and outgunned, players fight their way through fortified military installations, crippling the enemy's war machine. Only then will humanity's fate be decided.

The Quake II Remaster It comprises a total of 28 levels and a multiplayer deathmatch map. Here you fight your way through a dark, military science fiction campaign with up to 4-player online or local split-screen co-op, or you can compete in pure retro battles with support for 16 players online or 4-player (local split screen), bot support for offline and online deathmatch and team deathmatch modes.

On PlayStation, a new Motion Aiming Ready technology is also used, allowing you to aim using the gyro controls. This option can be used in conjunction with the analog sticks to achieve the perfect blend of immersion and accuracy.

Crossplay is also supported, allowing players to compete in the campaign and expansions or in multiplayer matches with others, regardless of the platform. Crossplay is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
