Originally announced as a PS5 launch title, Quantum Error has now gone gold. After initial heavy criticism of the shooter, development was "restarted" and is now officially complete.
Developer TeamKill Media announced the gold certification via Twitter (X) well-known, and one that they seem visibly proud of after so much work.

When will Quantum Error be released?
Despite the gold certification announcement, there doesn't seem to be a firm release date yet. The last update only stated that... Quantum error will be released this year. With Gamescom approaching, all the release details should follow. When asked about a release date, the current response is:soon"And a corresponding trailer has been prepared, which provides further comprehensive insights into the game."
The idea of Quantum error The premise, described as cosmic horror, seems to have remained largely unchanged throughout this entire period. The Monad Quantum Research Facility, located 30 miles off the coast of California, is attacked by an unknown entity. The complex is completely engulfed in flames and sealed off. After a distress call is successfully placed to the fire department, a crew is dispatched by helicopter to the Monad facility with the mission of rescuing as many lives as possible from the burning complex and then leaving. However, what begins as a rescue mission quickly descends into darkness upon arrival and the realization that things are not as they seem.
Quantum error It was developed using Unreal Engine 5 and is fully optimized for PS5 hardware. The last-gen versions were recently scrapped, as TeamKill Media stated they wouldn't offer the same experience.
