Players delve deep into the high-tech yet esoteric Monad facility and beyond, undertaking interstellar journeys and encountering enemies and bosses ranging from the familiar to the inexplicable.
After the Monad Quantum Research Facility – 30 miles off the coast of California – is attacked by an unknown entity in 2109, the complex goes up in flames and is completely sealed off, an emergency call is sent to the Garboa Fire Department in San Francisco for mutual backup.
What begins as a simple mission to save lives from the burning complex soon develops into a nightmarish cosmic journey that takes one from reality into other worlds where one must fight for one's own life and the lives of others.
Quantum Error Early Access
Officially, it appears Quantum error on November 03rd, 2023. However, those who want to start a little earlier can pre-order the game and already on October 31th and thus get started just in time for Halloween, as the trailer also reveals today.
Quantum Error will later also be released for Xbox Series X|S, where the title will be more time for optimization needs.
